What's in the publication

Women remain significantly underrepresented in Argentina’s logistics sector, despite employers recognizing the value they bring to the workplace. Developed jointly by GAN Argentina, the Unión Industrial Argentina (UIA), and Randstad, Mujeres en Logística explores women’s participation in logistics roles and the barriers affecting their recruitment, development, and advancement.

Based on a survey of 104 representatives from leading companies in Argentina conducted in May and June 2021, the study examines recruitment patterns, qualification and experience requirements, workplace culture, and gender-equality policies. It also highlights the perceived strengths of women working in logistics, including precision, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

The findings offer businesses insights into the structural and organizational barriers limiting women’s access to logistics careers and point to opportunities to strengthen gender equality and inclusion across the sector.
