Are you an employer or a young person interested in what makes a “quality apprenticeship”? If so, come and be a part of “Unlocking Excellence”, a webinar series hosted by GAN Global and the Global Alliance for YOUth. This series will empower employers with practical insights and demonstrate what quality looks like for potential apprentices.

With a focus on building skilled and motivated workforces, these sessions will share the knowledge and tools necessary to implement high-quality apprenticeship programs, driving growth and success. They are the culmination of various GAN-led initiatives with the Global Alliance for YOUth aimed at boosting private sector involvement in apprenticeships and highlighting their crucial role in bridging the skills gap and improving lives.

Webinar 1: Unlocking Excellence: The Swiss Model for Quality Apprenticeships in the US and UK October 8,15h-16h CEST/8h-9h CDT/9h-10h EDT – in English

Featuring a keynote from Olivia Gachoud, Head of the Science & Technology Office at the Embassy of Switzerland in the US, and a panel session with managers and apprentices from Bühler and UBS, this webinar will share insights and practical examples of apprenticeship models and best practices from leading companies in Switzerland. With highlights for both businesses and young people, the session will reflect on how the ‘Swiss model’ of apprenticeships can be adapted across borders.

Hosted by GAN Guatemala and GAN Argentina, this webinar will focus on the role of apprenticeships in promoting social justice in Latin America, emphasizing how private sector engagement can empower youth, reduce skills gaps, and support inclusive growth..
