Over two dynamic days at the Bühler Group Headquarters in Uzwil, GAN Global convened business leaders and apprenticeship champions to shape the next chapter of global skills development. Hosted by Bühler, the board meeting and outreach event marked a pivotal moment in our efforts to strengthen the connection between employers, youth, and the future of work. On the first day, we began with a strategy workshop with the GAN Executive Team, shaping our vision for the next five years, focusing on real, measurable impact for youth, employers, and communities. The board then confirmed its strategy for the next five years, reinforcing a shared commitment: skilling ecosystems must be proactive, collaborative, and designed for real-world outcomes.
Event Highlight: “Accelerating Impact Together: Apprenticeships and AI”
The centerpiece of the two-day program was a high‑energy outreach event exploring how apprenticeships and artificial intelligence are reshaping the world of work. Industry leaders and apprentices shared insights on digitalization, the evolution of vocational models, and the skills needed for future careers. Their perspectives underscored a clear message: AI isn’t replacing apprenticeships, it is amplifying their importance by increasing demand for adaptable, tech‑empowered talent.

Participants also toured Bühler’s Energy Center, gaining firsthand exposure to Switzerland’s renowned apprenticeship system. The visit demonstrated how investment in people through hands‑on learning, mentorship, and cutting‑edge technologies creates a future‑ready workforce, driving long-term innovation. GAN Global extends its gratitude to Bühler for its leadership and partnership in advancing high‑quality apprenticeships worldwide. Across sectors and countries, together, we continue to accelerate impact for the next generation of skilled talent.
