As the host of GAN Türkiye, TİSK plays a leading role in advancing digital innovation in technical and vocational training. The Nexarium project, co-created by Borçelik Technical Academy and VR start‑up NaraXR, is a flagship example of how digital transformation can reshape high‑risk industrial training.
Forklift and reach truck operations expose workers to significant safety risks, yet Türkiye lacks a standardized, structured education and competency assessment system for these roles. To address this, TİSK MCV supported the development and piloting of mixed‑reality, AI-enabled training simulators that combine digital twin factory environments, real operational hazards, and objective performance analytics.
Validated through pilots in Borçelik, Borusan Port, vocational high schools, and Bursa Technical University, Nexarium allows trainees to develop skills safely before entering the field. It is also Türkiye’s first simulator-based MYK exam environment, marking a breakthrough in national qualification systems. Nexarium has since been commercialized as a scalable product with sales and rental models, remote instructor access, and multilingual capabilities, positioning it as a market-ready digital training platform.
