Earlier this year, we were invited by our strategic partner, the World Bank’s Solutions for Youth Employment (S4YE) to participate with our members on a webinar dialogue on designing apprenticeships for youth. We brought together youth employment practitioners and private sector companies which included: Nazrene Mannie, GAN Global Executive Director of Global Apprenticeship Network; Bettina Schaller, Global Head of Public Affairs, The Adecco Group; Paul Champion, President and CEO, TranZed Apprenticeships and Timothy J. Scott Hall, Government and Public Affairs Manager, Communications and Media Strategist, Intel Costa Rica (a member of GAN Costa Rica). The session led to an engaging discussion on the role of the private sector in advancing youth employment and provided lessons learned from these organizations youth focused initiatives around the world.
